there are paths in my brain
that are changing,
around they go
a synapse
sparked, diverted
to make another
route to clarity
and the sway of
my thoughts
is shifted to the sun
like flowers blooming
towards the sky
and I am able
to notice the process
of change taking
place and to
know it comes
from no power
of my own
